Nagoya means Unagi!

This has little to do with Econ or Gov, but this blog is many things to many people, so there you are.  Any how, we discovered that Nagoya is famous for its unagi (eel) dishes, so we promptly went to a well-regarded restaurant at the top of a downtown department store.  We saw the painting above and we were so amused by it that we decided to have a "Haiku Duel" where we each wrote a haiku, and whichever was better would be posted.  Mine won :)

Unagi, bodies
intertwined, her curves sublime,
his lithe, serpentine

The English translation of the instructions on how to properly eat Unagi in Nagoya.  We got ours with "white soy sauce".  If you have the opportunity, indulge in white soy sauce.  I don't know how they do it, but it was worth the extra couple of dollars.
