Delay in posting

Sorry, dear readers for the long delay: we have, oddly enough, struggled to access the internet.  Now we are in Tokyo, and have access in the room, so expect picture and entries to be updated for the last week or so in the coming days.  Also, a colleague has joined us on some of our adventures in Tokyo, and she'll accompany us for much of our travels in Hokkaido.
